Just thought I would share a little then and now with you. This is me and my friend Nell in 1965,9th grade graduation(I never could keep my eyes open when the flash went off). Don't ya just love the hairdo's? That's my Mom standing right behind me.
This is us today,yes we are still friends,only now we are OLD friends.

Arent "old friends" fun. It has snowed us in or out whichever today. I am only person at office and I have been working on a new blogsite just for us "old friends" to reconnect. Feel free to drop by. No post until after lunch though,, lol

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this story! I love "friends" stories...my novels all have that kind of friendship between the women characters...sometimes they've just known each other since college, but they remain friends for decades!
ReplyDeleteYes, the sixties hairdos! I have a photo of me getting ready to go out to a dinner party in 1965...and I swear my hair must be about three feet tall! (Maybe not quite).
