I'm not going to blog about Holiday Weight Gain!

Wow,this month has flew by I can't believe it's almost Feburary already. I have really enjoyed this winter(unlike most of the country). See,I was born and raised in Michigan and back then we had snow from November until the thaw in the Spring. Like everyone else,I grew tired of it. In 1966 I moved to Alabama and married and have lived here ever since. In those 45 years that I've lived here,I never remember a white Christmas(to me,Christmas=snow) but we had one this year. My son's are 42 and 38 years old and this was their first white Christmas. Then the 10th of Jan. we got another beautiful snow. I know most of you must think I'm crazy but you wouldn't believe the memories that came flooding back just by walking thru the snow.(I know,I know....a little is good but a lot is not). They are predicting snow again tonight and everyone around here is complaining, but not me,Let it Snow!!!!.......See how these wimps around here can't take a little snow!......................~Dinah~

  4. Just stopped by to say hi, I love to look at new blogs and see what fellow bloggers are up to. I like your webpage! And I'm glad you are enjoying the snow. We are having unusual amounts of snowfall here in CT, I am trying to enjoy it but I prefer the dog days of summer. :)

  5. Awwww...no weight gain story. lol

Glad you're enjoying the snow and the crazy weather. It's not that bad, is it? But then again, I don't have a 9 to 5. That probably makes a difference.

  6. Heeehehe!!! That picture of the 'need beer' just cracks me up. I'm so glad you enjoyed your snow. We just got hit head on with the 'big blizzard' this week and it's gonna take us awhile to dig outta this one. The sub~zero temps are makin' it all the harder.

God bless ya and have a warm fuzzy kinda day sweetie!!!

  9. I made my son drive the southern route through Baton Rouge to get back to Tuscaloosa because of the snow. Did it remind you of Michigan? I spent 7 years there. don't miss my shovel at all.

    Nice to visit you.
