We're having a heat wave........A tropical heat wave! Ever hear that tune? There is just one problem,I'm not in the tropics,(boo hoo)if I were I would now be at the swim up bar in the pool. When I went to Jamaica that's where I stayed in the heat of the day and that's saying a lot for someone that can't swim. Ok,back to reality,the heat index is 105 today,did I mention that I'm not much of a fan of summer? I love any season that is not summer. Alaska is sounding real good about now. I'm glad I finished mowing the lawn yesterday,that's one thing I did right this week. I've decided I going to put up black and tan checked curtains in my kitchen and dining room,the problem now is I can't find what I'm looking for. I could always make some but material has gotten so expensive it would cost me twice as much to make them. Anyone know of a good place to buy country curtains? Well,I'm off to wax the floors at least it's cool in the house.
ohhh the days of Jaimaica(?) Anyhoo, love that place....... It is hot,,,good time to get a tan!!

ReplyDeleteWe're not quite as hot, but close. And my AC is on the fritz so we're melting away. Alaska sounds pretty good to me,too.
You're not kidding. It's ridiculously hot and humid here in my neck of the woods, too. bleh!
