Finally!

The first day of September, you sure have been a long time a coming, seems like I have waited on you forever. Yes folks I am truly a summer hater,I love all the other seasons but summer and I are not the best of friends. When spring turns to summer I count the days until fall and I'm so happy it has arrived. Now I can finally enjoy the outdoors,it has been so hot that the only time being outside was even bearable was either early morning or sundown. I'm looking forward to all the festivals and sites I can find and even yard work will be a pleasure now. Sorry that I have been slacking on my posting lately but it seems like there is not enough time to keep up with everything. I did do a little decorating for fall. Have a good one and I'll catch ya later.~Dinah~

  1. I smile reading this because I too have been waiting for summer to end and fall to begin. I love having the windows open and smelling the fresh air flowing through them and dislike running the air so don't unless it's dreadful....with my hormones keeping me naturally hot these days I am longing for cool days. :) I love your fall decorating. I so wish I was on top of things and did such things. Oh well...maybe some day. :) XX

  2. I'm with you in that I hate summer - at least this summer. Jeeze louise, how much hotter and more humid could it get, anyway? And going outside at dusk, no thanks - too buggy! But I'm not a big fan of fall either, at least when it goes directly from hot as hell to damp and cold, by-passing sunshiney and cool!

  5. And I live in fear of Fall. Oh, not "FALL" itself, but the harsh winter that will follow. In Indiana, if you're not housebound due to the heat, wait a month and you're housebound due to the freezing temperatures.

  8. Although here in Cali, this summer was pretty nice. And like you, me and summer DO NOT get along. My favorite is Autumn...the look, the sounds, the smells...the cooler temps. Now if only I could not gain weight due to lots of baking I'll be alright...

    have a good one,

  10. Oh, I must admit that I've been remiss lately in visiting favorite blogs...and when I arrived here today, I was amazed! You have a whole new look to your site. I loved the old look, but this one is fabulous!

I love fall too! It's my absolute favorite season. Your fall decorations are wonderful, which reminds me that I need to get some of mine out of the closets!
